Rock Creek Pool, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the state of Maryland for the purpose of providing swimming and other recreational facilities for its members and their families and guests and promoting the welfare of the communities in the area in which the facilities of the Corporation may be situated and not for the purpose of financial profit or gain; and in furtherance of these purposes to build or otherwise acquire and maintain such pools, bathhouses, and other recreational, social, and civic facilities and appurtenances. Membership Provisions The Association is authorized to offer 400 full family memberships. In a typical year, 20 or so members resign, thereby creating a like number of openings for new members. To provide for an orderly process for receiving new members, the Association maintains a waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis. Once on the waiting list, one need not apply again. APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP Membership is limited to applicants who live in within defined boundaries.  If you want to know whether you are in our boundaries, please e-mail us your name, phone number, and street address with zip code and we will notify you to let you know whether you are in our boundaries.  Our e-mail address is rockcreekpool@yahoo.com.  If you are within our boundaries, you must submit an application with a non-refundable fee of $50 to obtain a space on our waiting list.  If you move outside of our boundaries while you are on the waiting list, you are no longer elegible for membership or swim privileges. FULL MEMBERSHIP  - Requires the payment of $750 to purchase your membership plus annual dues which are currently $330 per year. SUMMER SWIM PRIVILEGES - Summer Swim Privileges are offered to a certain number of applicants on the waiting lists which is determined on an annual basis by the Board of Directors.   Summer Swim Privileges currently cost $420. SUMMER WAIVERS-If you are offered summer swim privileges and you decline them, you are required to pay an annual fee of $25 to remain on our waiting list. AUGUST SWIM PRIVILEGES - We attempt to accommodate as many people on our waiting list with August Swim Privileges as possible.  August Swim Privileges currently cost $185.
